Jack Garland Hagaman

 

Jack Garland Hagaman, age 58, of Mountain City, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at his residence.

 

Jack was born on January 3, 1950 in WataugaCounty to Nellie Wilson Hagaman and the late John Hagaman. He was well known by his business, Hagaman Lawn Service. Jack was a member of PleasantGroveBaptistChurch, Zionville.

 

Survivors include his son, Justin Hagaman of Boone; mother, Nellie Wilson Hagaman of Zionville, NC; very special friend and caregiver, Jenny Ward; step-daughters, Tina Hicks and Ronnie, Tammy Dunn and husband Danny, Jennifer Lewis and Amanda Gentry and husband Paul, all of Mountain City; step-sons, Brandon McGinnis of Tacoma, WA and Jeff Denney and wife Verna of Mountain City; step granddaughter, Alli McGinnis; sisters, Betty Greer and Margaret Sipe, both of Zionville, NC, Janice Ritenour and husband Don of Springfield, VA and Barbara McElyea and husband Johnny of Zionville, NC; brothers, Royce Hagaman and wife Susan of Charlotte, James D. Hagaman and wife Mayselle of Zionville, NC, Jerry Hagaman and wife Robin of South Carolina, Dave Hagaman of Sugar Grove, NC and Terry Hagaman and wife Sherry of Forest City, NC, several nieces and nephews and his many friends from Hardee's and Lois' and around town.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Mountain City Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor David Bentley and Brother James D. Hagaman officiating. Music will be provided by Lois Dunn and Kenny Price.
